Toyota Updates TS040 Hybrid Race Car For 2015

Maybe for Toyota strong are not the 24 Hours of Le Mans, but in 2014 was the most consistent of all competitors throughout the World (World Championship-WEC) Endurance Championship. This became the first Japanese company to win the manufacturers' title, while Anthony Davidson and Sebastian Buemi were awarded the drivers.

For the 2015 season, Toyota will defend this pair of crowns once again with the TS040 Hybrid developing an excess of 1,000 Hp maximum powers. Similarly to last season, the Japanese auto brand will be enrolled in the hybrid category 6 mega joules, but it has made a number of improvements to increase performance.

Among the amendments which has undergone this TS040 Hybrid stresses redesigning the front and the aerodynamic kit, some suspension modifications, plus the weight is lowered. According to Toyota, 80 percent of car parts were improved. By combining the power of the 3.7-liter V8 engine with the electrical system this TS040 provides a combined output of 1,000 hp.

TS040 Hybrid Driving the No. 1 world champions Anthony Davidson and Sebastian Buemi will sit alongside Kazuki Nakajima. In the TS040 Hybrid number 2 are Alex Wurz and Stéphane Sarrazin, plus Mike Conway.

Toyota Racing will begin the defense of his two titles on April 12 at Silverstone. Subsequently, on May 2, proof of Spa-Francorchamps will be held. The 24 Hours of Le Mans, the climax of the season, will be the June 14, while Nürburgring, August 30, is the newest addition to the calendar. This season 2015 complete with racing in Austin on September 19, Fuji on October 11, Shanghai on November 1 and Bahrain on November 21.
